The Turtle Goon is a recurring enemy from the Jazz Jackrabbit series.

The first line of defense in Devan's lackeys. Not too smart, they will aimlessly search for Jazz.

Jazz Jackrabbit[]
Turtle Goons appear as regular turtles with purple shells. They are first found in Diamondus, simply moving left and right.
One of those serves as a boss in Diamondus's secret level, whose only attack is to dash after the player. He can be easily defeated by simply standing still at a certain height and shooting.
Jazz Jackrabbit 2[]
The Turtle Goons get an actual attack this time, biting the player if he gets too close. Additionally, if the player shoots them they'll retreat to their shells, which can be shot to bounce into other enemies or stomped for some extra points.
